Meet DJ Balance, a proud Urbandale High alum and lifelong music enthusiast who recently returned to the DSM metro after 25 years in Raleigh, North Carolina. With roots in college radio at KRUI and mentorship under legendary DJ Joe Bunn, he’s been DJing professionally for the past four years and brings a unique blend of life experience, musical knowledge, and grounded energy to every event. A University of Iowa graduate, Hawkeye for life, and proud dad to two daughters living in Durham, NC, DJ Balance knows how to bring people together through music. From Blink-182 to Billie Eilish, Motown to Kendrick Lamar. His sets are rich with emotion, rhythm, and personality. He’s the kind of DJ who lets the music speak, keeps it cool, and always brings balance to the party.
